Comprehensive Sleep and Breathing Disorders Center is proud to welcome Dr. Secil Aydinoz to our amazing team of doctors. Dr. Aydinoz specializes in sleep medicine for both pediatric patients and adults. His first day was August 1st and we are already benefiting from his dedication and expertise.
Pediatric Sleep Medicine Now Available
With over 20 years experience as a board certified pediatrician, the addition of Dr. Aydinoz is good news for children and their parents in our area. Previously, pediatric sleep patients would have to travel to Children’s Hospital in Birmingham and often be on a waiting list for services due to the high demand and limited resources available. Now patients can be seen at our Tuscaloosa location as well as our office in Birmingham. Dr. Aydinoz is currently taking new patients so it’s the perfect time to make an appointment.
About Dr. Aydinoz
Hailing from Turkey, Dr. Aydinoz currently resides in Tuscaloosa, AL with his wife. They have two grown children. Dr. Aydinoz graduated from the University of Ankara School of Medicine in Turkey. He obtained his pediatric residency from Gulhane Military Medical Academy in Turkey and the University of Missouri-Columbia. He completed his Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of Missouri-Columbia. Prior to that, he had extensive training in Pediatric Sleep Medicine as a clinical research fellow at the University of Chicago. His goal at the Comprehensive Sleep and Breathing Disorders Center is to provide services to both adults and children for sleep apnea, insomnia, restless leg syndrome, and a wide variety of other sleep disorders.
